School Observations allow a better understanding of a child’s functioning within the classroom and considers their academic, social, emotional and behavioral functioning. This aids in developing specific and individually tailored interventions and supports to improve functioning and learning.

Program Evaluations involve a detailed analysis of  the match between a child’s current needs academically, socially, behaviorally and emotionally and the supports, structures and educational style of their current program and/or future programs. This can include:

  • detailed record reviews
  •  information gathering about current functioning from parents educators and treaters
  • school observations
  • a comprehensive written report outlining the child’s needs and what type of educational environment is required to meet them
  • school meeting attendance
